PRESS RELEASE: introduction new uniform folding crate

The new uniform folding crate for bulbs and perennials is now a fact. A unique presentation took place in the “Leeuwenhorst” conference centre in Noordwijkerhout on 31st March 2011. The Utilysys Foundation, created from an initiative by the KAVB and Anthos sector organisations, presented itself and its new uniform folding crate during this presentation.

Although many aspects within the hatchery business have been improved through the years, the way the eggs (embryos) are being transported from production into the hatchery stayed the same. Every day millions of eggs are transported on metal trolleys, containing 6.000 eggs.

30.000.000 Eggs Cargo trays sold !

During the VIV Europe International Specialist Exhibition, which was held from 20th to 22nd April at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht (the Netherlands), Twinpack announced that it had sold its 30.000.000th plastic Eggs Cargo tray.

Wash equipment for the Eggs Cargo System

The Dutch companies of Mafo BV from Almelo and Twinpack BV from Barneveld are going to collaborate in the area of the development and sale of wash equipment suitable for pallets and dividers that form part of the Eggs Cargo System.
